                              Melissa Todaro Photography Refund & Cancellation Policy

Deposit Policy:

All deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit secures your booking and ensures that the time and resources are allocated for your session. In the event that you cannot make your scheduled session, you may apply your deposit toward a make-up date or another session, provided that the rescheduling request is made prior to and up to the day before your scheduled session.

Cancellation:

If a session is cancelled, the security deposit will not be refunded.  If you wish to rebook an event, you will be required to put a minimum deposit of 50% of the quoted price for that particular session.  In some cases, exceptions will be made where the deposit can be used to reschedule a future date.  However, if a date/time has been blocked out and/or I am already at the session location, the deposit may not be used towards a future event, and will require a new deposit to reschedule.

Gift Certificate Policy:

Gift certifcates are non refundable and may be exempt from certain "specialty" sessions if the gift certificate was not purchased for that specific event.  If you are using a gift certificate and do not show up for your scheduled session, the gift certificate will no longer apply.  As with any booked session

Special Sessions & Time Slot Requirements:

For special sessions where clients are allotted specific time slots, you are required to arrive at least five to ten minutes prior to your scheduled session to allow for preparation and avoid delays. If you arrive late, your time slot will be shortened accordingly to maintain the schedule of appointments for that day.

Session Duration & Payment:

Each session is scheduled for a set amount of time, and the balance must be paid in full prior to the start of your session. Late arrivals will result in less time available for your session, as extensions cannot be guaranteed.

Session Interruption & Make-Up Policy:

While I always strive to ensure your session runs smoothly on rare occasions, unforeseen circumstances beyond my control may prevent the session from being completed. In such cases, you will be given the option to either:

1. Accept a reduced number of pictures/edits as originally agreed upon, or

2. Reschedule a make-up session. Depending on the session type, an additional fee may be required to redo the session.

Final Sale Policy:

All sales are final. Due to the nature of photography services and digital products, no refunds or exchanges will be issued once the final images have been delivered.

Requests For Additional Edits/Images:

Once a project is complete and delivered, I will do my best to accommodate minor changes or edits.  You may request as many changes or edits, however it will be subject to a $25 charge per every additional 30 minutes of edit time.

Image Ownership & Usage Rights:

All images captured and produced by Melissa Todaro Photography remain the intellectual property of the photographer. I reserve the right to use images in future examples, marketing materials, promotions, portfolio displays, or other related materials. If you have concerns regarding image usage, please discuss this prior to your session.
